UK Natural Gas Futures Fall to 2-Month Low

UK natural gas futures declined to below 100 pence per therm, the lowest in two months due to mild weather, ample supplies, and strong liquefied natural gas (LNG) flows.

With four new LNG arrivals scheduled at UK terminals and eleven cargoes en route, robust send-out levels are expected to persist. Additionally, forecasts indicate warmer temperatures in the upcoming days, settling at seasonal norms until mid-January.

In other developments, Oman LNG has secured a 9-year agreement to supply BP with around 1 million metric tons of LNG annually, starting in 2026.
