The yellow metal had made a majestic step above the key hurdle at 1,745. Earlier in the week gold made a run towards 1,754 but stalled at 1,745 This might have discouraged the bulls on Friday.

शादियों के सीजन में सोना-चांदी सस्ता हो गया है। आज यानी सोमवार सुबह देशभर के सर्राफा बाजारों में सोने का हाजिर भाव में 99 रुपये की कमी आई है। आज 24 कैरेट 10 ग्राम सोने का भाव 47278 रुपये पर आ गया है। वहीं 23 कैरेट से लेकर 18 कैरेट तक के सोने के भाव में भी गिरावट देखने को मिल रही है। वहीं चांदी 1255 रुपये प्रति किलो सस्ती हुई है।

कोरोना वायरस संकट के चलते शेयर बाजार में उतार-चढ़ाव के बीच मई में गोल्ड एक्सचेंज ट्रेडेड फंड (ईटीएफ) में 815 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश आया। इसकी वजह यह है कि निवेशक अब निवेश के सुरक्षित विकल्पों की ओर रुख कर रहे हैं। पिछले साल इस श्रेणी का प्रदर्शन अन्य संपत्तियों की तुलना में बेहतर रहा है। अगस्त 2019 से गोल्ड ईटीएफ (Gold ETF) में कुल 3,299 करोड़ रुपये का निवेश आया है।
