Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the fourth Budget of the Modi 2.0 government today. The stage for the Budget presentation was set by the Economic Survey stating that the government has the fiscal space to do more to support the economy that is forecast to grow at a healthy 8-8.5 per cent growth in the 2022-23 fiscal.

अमेरिका के केंद्रीय बैंक, फेडरल रिजर्व (federal bank) ने ब्याज दरों में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया है। बुधवार को अपनी दो दिवसीय पॉलिसी बैठक के अंत में फेड ने ब्याज दरों को अपरिवर्तित छोड़ दिया। लेकिन अब मार्च में ब्याज दरें (interest rate) बढ़नी तय मानी जा रही है। फेड के चेयरमैन जेरोम पॉवेल (Fed Chair Jerome Powell) के आज के बयान का समझें तो फेडरल रिजर्व (federal bank) ने कोरोना महामारी के बाद ब्याज दर में पहली बार वृद्धि करने के लिए आधार तैयार कर दिया है। पॉवेल के मुताबिक जल्द ही ब्याज दरों में बदलाव किया जाएगा।
