Gold Silver Reports — US Weekly Jobless Claims Decrease To 247,000 — US first-time claims for unemployment benefits saw a modest decrease in the week ended July 8th, according to a report released by the Labor Department on Thursday.

The report said initial jobless claims dipped to 247,000, a decrease of 3,000 from the previous weeks revised level of 250,000.
