Natural Gas Tips Update — Watch High 226.30 Boom Boom Neal Bhai Again Hit
The U.S. Energy Information Administration reported Thursday that domestic supplies of natural gas rose by 46 billion cubic feet for the week ended Sept. 21. That was below the 61 billion cubic feet increase expected by analysts polled by S&P Global Platts and below the 81 billion average rise seen over the last five years for the same week.
Total stocks now stand at 2.768 trillion cubic feet, down 690 billion cubic feet from a year ago, and 621 billion below the five-year average, the government said.
November natural gas NGX18, +3.72% traded at 3.056 per million British thermal units, up 7.6 cents, or 2.6%, from Wednesday’s settlement. It was trading at $3.024 before the supply data.
